Cowden’s disease / Multiple Hamartoma Syndrome –

  • An autosomal dominant syndrome
  • Trichilemmomas – Numerous tumors of hair follicles in face
  • Multiple hamartomatous polyps in GI tract.
  • Very high risk of breast & thyroid carcinoma
    Treatment:

  • Contraindicated are mammography & other radiation exposure of breast tissue
